Weight Management Centre is a leading provider of childhood obesity prevention and intervention services and is one of only 7 providers on the Department of Health Child Weight Management Framework to provide National delivery of obesity services and training. Specialist Childhood Obesity Programme

Alive ‘N’ Kicking is our highly successful and extremely efficacious childhood obesity intervention, catering for age ranges 2 – 19.  The 12 week programmed workshops and activity sessions educate families on the importance of healthy eating and increasing activity levels.  The highly trained weight management practitioners provide the support and guidance needed to empower families to make healthier lifestyle choices.  Alive ‘N’ Kicking was awarded highly commendable in the National Obesity Forum (NOF) awards for excellence in obesity care in 2006.

We provide an array of child weight management services across a number of Primary Care Trusts. Currently we work with: NHS South West London, Luton PCT, Hull PCT, St Helens and Halton PCT, Suffolk PCT and Camden PCT.  Have a look at the outstanding Results that we are achieving across these projects. Childhood Obesity Intervention and Prevention Training

The childhood obesity training that we provide is accessed by hundreds of practitioners across the UK and delegates come from Primary Care, Local Authority and the Private and Voluntary Sector. The training looks at the behavioural and environmental aspects of childhood obesity, and equips delegates with the skills, confidence and organisational framework to successfully work with overweight and obese children.
